PCSI Design has a long track record of meeting unique challenges for our clients. We can step into any stage of the process, whether a project is in the conceptual stage, the design stage, undergoing testing or prototyping.

We are interested in outsourcing an entire component of our design. What process do you use to complete the task?

Once the design criteria is established, we match the project with the PCSI Design team member who has specific experience in this area. We complete the design work from our offices and collaborate with your program managers. We stay in constant communication by posting data to your secure ftp site, or our own.

What CAD system do you use to handle design work?

We offer CAD services using SolidWorks, CATIA V4/V5, Pro/Engineer, AutoCAD, and UGS 3D modeling solutions. In addition, we offer CAD data exchange capabilities that allow us to use existing design data where appropriate or meet customer-driven CAD requirements.

Does PCSI Design only handle complete product design or do you offer support for customer defined areas of specific need?

Since PCSI Design has resource expertise that covers the full gamit of design processes, we are able to offer support at any stage of your project. Our focus is to assist in supplying resources to resolve your specific issues in design and/or preparing your product for subsequent manufacturing.

How do you charge for your services?

We offer a variety of proposal formats to help fit your specific budget requirement. This includes time and material proposal, T&M with not-to-exceed clauses, and fixed bid formats with all deliverables clearly defined in the Statement of Work.
