Carlos Veliz founded PCSI Design in 1999, bringing nearly three decades of experience in aerospace and mechanical engineering to build a strong regional company with global reach.
Carlos combines his roots as a designer with his love of doing business to drive the PCSI Design culture of delivering high quality design, engineering and manufacturing value to his customers.
Carlos is committed to PCSI Design’s local and diverse communities. He is a member of the Minority Business Enterprise Input Committee (MBEIC), the Northwest Minority Business Council, and has spurred the growth of groups such as the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), Mexican American Engineers and Scientists (MAES) and the Washington State Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
Carlos also serves as a trustee for Everett Community College and Chair of the Mayor of Everett’s Diversity Committee. A devoted believer in the power of mentoring, Carlos co-chairs the Snohomish Student Color Conference in Everett and is a mentor with the Snohomish County Minority Achievers Program.
Carlos is an alumnus of the Tuck Executive Business School at Dartmouth. He lives in Lake Stevens with his wife.
